What is the difference between ePMP and PMP 450?
ePMP is the more affordable, high-performance option for medium-sized WISP networks and point-to-point links. PMP 450 targets high-density carrier networks with extended spectrum management. We are happy to advise on the right choice for your wireless environment.
Do I need cnMaestro – or can I do without it?
Devices can be operated standalone, but in practice cnMaestro makes the difference: zero-touch provisioning, performance reports, RF tuning, firmware distribution. cnMaestro X / on-prem is an optional paid add-on, while basic management is free of charge.
Do you also offer the PTP 700 for government and military?
Yes. We are an authorized distributor for the PTP 700 for approved government and military users in Germany. Details and specifications can be found on our PTP 700 dedicated page.
Can you create a wireless plan for my project?
Yes. We create wireless plans for ePMP/PMP/PTP as well as for indoor and outdoor Wi-Fi roll-outs (e.g. hotel, stadium, school). On request, including an on-site survey.
Are Cambium devices with Wi-Fi 7 already available?
Yes, Wi-Fi 7 is available with the X7 series (e.g. X7-35X). However, for most existing environments, XV2/XV3 models with Wi-Fi 6/6E are still entirely sufficient – we recommend the appropriate generation for your needs.
How quickly can you deliver Cambium hardware?
We keep standard items in stock or at our distributor. Special items such as the PTP 700 are subject to lead times depending on the variant – we will confirm a binding delivery date once we receive your request.
